Pots up to 5 liters

Depending on the cooking method and portion size, different-sized pots are suitable. Pots up to 5 liters are ideal for preparing small to medium portions. A roaster with a high dome lid and similar capacity is also suitable for larger or bulkier food.

The 5 liter cooking pots from Fissler are made – like all Fissler pots – from up to 90% recycled stainless steel and are mostly manufactured in Germany. They are robust, durable, and impress with their premium look. Choosing the right pot

What pot size is suitable for how many people?

The pot size determines whether the food fits in the pot and cooks evenly. The following information serves as a guide:

up to 3 litres: suitable for 1-2 people
up to 5 litres: suitable for 2-3 people
up to 10 litres: suitable for 4-5 people
large-capacity pots up to 15 litres: suitable for 5 or more people

5-litre pots for different cooking methods

In addition to the Cooking Pot, a classic all-rounder that can be used in many ways—for preparing soups, pasta, and vegetables, for example—Fissler also offers other 5-litre pots:

Roasting pots, in which you first sear ingredients and then braise them in the oven at approx. 180 °C with the Lid closed.
Roasting pots from the Original-Profi Collection® are equipped with a domed Lid featuring the Fissler Condensate Plus function, allowing moisture to circulate optimally so ingredients are cooked gently. The dripping condensation makes meat tender and even juicier.

Stew pots, in which you can both braise and gently steam food. Less condensation forms on the shallow pot wall than in a conventional pot. This has a positive effect on browning results, the development of roasted aromas, and flavour. Unlike frying pans, stew pots are voluminous enough to add liquid after searing.
