Coated aluminium pans are ideal for gently and crisply frying delicate foods without anything sticking. But there are differences here too, because the non-stick coatings can be made from various materials.
The most popular is the classic coating made from polytetrafluoroethylene, or PTFE for short. Ceramic pans, on the other hand, are made without the use of PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances) or PTFE. Fissler ceramic pans also have a ceramic coating made without PFAS/PTFE.
