Felt pan protectors to protect against scratches

Pan protector

Kitchen space is often limited. Especially larger pots or pans take up quite a bit of room. If you own several different pans or a Frying Pan Set of two identical pans with different diameters, you can stack them space-saving in your cabinets.

To ensure the Non-Stick Coating on coated pans does not get scratched, there are pan protectors that shield your pans.

With a pan protector, you can also save money, as they extend the lifespan of your pans. The protection helps the Non-Stick Coating last longer, and the pans need to be replaced less often.

Guide to pan protectors

Purpose of use

Pan protectors for uncoated and coated pans

Especially aluminium pans with a non-stick coating, such as frying pans, woks or wok pans, should be protected during storage in the cupboard.

Coated Fissler pans feature non-stick coatings: ceramic coatings made without PFAS/PTFE and PTFE-based coatings. All Fissler pans are free of PFOA in accordance with EU Regulation No. 2019/1021.

For Fissler pans with high-quality non-stick coatings, we recommend using wooden or silicone kitchen utensils so the coating lasts as long as possible. The Adamant® pan range is equipped with a scratch-resistant, water-based PTFE coating reinforced with silicon carbide particles. Even rounded metal kitchen utensils can be used with these pans.

This also helps prevent scratches during stacking, and we recommend the Fissler felt pan protector.

A pan protector can also be used as a shock absorber between individual products with stainless steel pans.
