When it comes to Cookware, quality matters - because cooking is appreciation. That is why Fissler also relies on Premium Quality, durability and sustainability.
High-quality and durable material: pots made of stainless steel
To ensure you enjoy your Cooking Pots for as long as possible, they should be made from a material that is especially hygienic, dimensionally stable and resistant to heat, alkalis, acids, and corrosion.
That is why Fissler manufactures Cooking Pots primarily from up to 90% recycled 18/10 Stainless Steel and aluminium.
First-class pot base
The base is the core of a Cooking Pot. A high-quality pot base is characterised by fast heat conduction that reduces preparation time, especially on induction stovetops. Even heat distribution supports optimal cooking results and prevents localised burning. The efficient use of energy or heat not only saves money, but also helps protect the environment.
Fissler places special emphasis on quality and functionality:
- The exclusive, energy-efficient Fissler CookStar® base is suitable for all stovetops and optimised for induction. It is extra thick and solid, providing optimal heat absorption, distribution, and retention. The long heat retention makes pots with a CookStar® base particularly energy-efficient.
- The energy-efficient Superthermic® base is also suitable for all stovetops including induction. It offers even heat absorption, distribution, and retention, making excellent use of energy.
Cool-touch handles
Fissler Stay-Cool metal handles, stainless steel handles with heat buffer, and plastic handles remain pleasantly cool while cooking on the stove. The ergonomic pot handles sit comfortably in your hand and provide a secure grip when carrying and moving the pot on the stove.
The handles of Fissler Cooking Pots stay pleasantly cool and are always safe to grip.
Depending on the model, Fissler stainless steel pots feature different handles:
- Stay-Cool metal handles (Original-Profi Collection® Cooking Pots): The solidly crafted handles maintain a pleasantly comfortable grip temperature for an above-average length of time when used on a standard household stove (<50 °C). The heat-insulating transition between the pot body and handle plate provides added safety.
- Stainless steel handles with heat buffer (Bonn Cooking Pot): Silicone rings reduce the transfer of heat from the pot body to the handles. This keeps the handles pleasantly cool even during extended use on the stove.
- Stainless steel handles (Viseo® Cooking Pot): The heat-conducting properties of stainless steel ensure that the handle temperature remains pleasantly cool at all times.
Perfectly fitting Lid
A high-quality Lid stands out for its material workmanship and precision fit .
Depending on the model, Fissler offers different types of Lid:
- Metal Lid made of durable 18/10 Stainless Steel with Condensate-Plus function (Original-Profi Collection® Cooking Pots only), whose slightly concave shape allows condensed steam to drip back into the pot, making food even juicier and more flavourful.
- Metal Lid made of durable 18/10 Stainless Steel, easy to clean and oven-safe up to 230 °C.
- Lids made of high-quality glass (Bonn and Viseo® Cooking Pot), which are impact-resistant and resistant to gradual thermal changes up to 180 °C. Thanks to the high-quality stainless steel ring with integrated silicone seal, water ingress or stress in the glass during heating is prevented. The Glass Lid allows convenient visual cooking without loss of aroma or energy.
A tightly fitting Lid allows only minimal escape of the resulting condensation heat and therefore speeds up the cooking process. To save energy, Fissler recommends cooking with the Lid closed whenever possible.
Practical features: Pouring Rim and measuring scale
Passionate cooking requires the right Cookware. Details make individual steps in the cooking process easier.
All stainless steel pots from Fissler feature:
- a Pouring Rim for easy and precise pouring and transferring of liquids such as sauces or soups - without spills or drips
- a laser-etched measuring scale on the inside as a practical aid for conveniently measuring liquids
Cooking Pots with different capacities and heights
At Fissler, you will find an exceptionally wide selection of stainless steel Cooking Pots. The range also includes tall pots that are ideal for the preparation of large portions. Thanks to their larger capacity, they offer enough space to cook for many people or to deep-fry foods until crispy in enough fat. The tall sides help prevent anything from splashing onto the hob.
