Multi-level cooking in a pressure cooker

With an insert, you can also do “tiered cooking” in Fissler Pressure Cookers from a minimum size of 6L. With tiered cooking, all ingredients are cooked at the same time in the same Pressure Cooker. This creates complete, healthy meals in just one pot and using only one hob in the shortest possible time. You can combine all ingredients with the same or similar cooking time; the best option is meat with a matching vegetable side dish.

And here's how it works:

Bacon-wrapped chicken breasts are seared in a Fissler stainless steel pot held with tongs - precision, quality "Made in Germany".

1. Sear the meat over high heat.

The meat is first briefly seared in a pressure cooker to ensure it remains juicy. Then, some broth or other liquid is added, and herbs or spices can be added.

2. Add side dishes

The side dishes, such as vegetables, are cleaned and evenly cut and placed in the special perforated insert of the pressure cooker. The accompanying tripod is placed on the bottom of the pot and the insert is then placed on top.

3. Close the lid

Now the lid is closed. Thanks to the positioning aid and an acoustic and visual signal, this is very easy.

4. Evaporation

Once the cooking time is over, the pressure cooker must first be released before it can be opened.

5. Highlight the effort

First, lift the insert out of the opened pressure cooker. Thanks to the handle, which curves slightly inwards in the middle, this works particularly well with a tablespoon. Since the handle can only be folded in one direction, there is no wobbling while lifting. Then remove the trivet from the pot and finally take out the meat.
