A Pressure Cooker is an essential Kitchen Accessories item – fast, efficient, and perfect for flavorful dishes. But for it to deliver consistently great results, proper Cleaning is key.

In our guide, we show you step by step how to clean your Fissler Pressure Cooker, which parts need special attention, and how to avoid common mistakes.

And here's how it works:

1. Pre-cleaning

Remove the Rubber Gasket, cooking crown, and lid stem, and clean them by hand with a damp cloth.

2. Loosen the fastening screw

To loosen the lid handle, turn the fastening screw on the inside counterclockwise. To loosen the chef's crown, turn the bell nut on the inside counterclockwise.

3. Dishwasher safe

The pot body and the Lid (without the above-mentioned attachments) are dishwasher-safe.

4. Attach the accessories

After Cleaning, reattach all attachments firmly to the pot. Make sure that the cooking valve seal fits tightly all around the cooking crown and that the seal sits in the intended groove. The Rubber Gasket must also be placed back into the intended groove.
