Spare parts are available quickly
If you're careless enough to place the lid of the vitavit pressure cooker upside down on the hot hob and only realise from the acrid smell that the valve isn't meant to be boiled or fried, then you need a replacement.
Ordering the replacement valve was easy and straightforward. All the required information is on the website, including images. The cooking valve arrived on the third day after ordering and was fitted. No one had to go hungry ;-).
