The right material
For especiallyhigh-quality and durable cookwareThe choice of materials must be right. Fissler predominantly uses [material name] in the production of its pots.
- Stainless steel 18/10 (for body, handles and lid) and stainless steel 18/0 (for induction-compatible bases)
- as well as aluminium (for the disc in the pot base)
Almost all Fissler cooking pots areMade in GermanyThis also applies to soup pots.
Stainless steel soup potsThey are hygienic, dimensionally stable, and resistant to heat, alkalis, acids, and corrosion. Stainless steel is also considered food-safe and easy to clean.
The correct shape
To prevent soup from spilling or splashing over while cooking, soup pots should be placed over ahigh edgeThe number of available features varies depending on the diameter and height.Capacityof the pot, so that different portion sizes can fit into the pot.
Some Fissler saucepans therefore have particularly high sides. Depending on the diameter, there is room for more or less soup.
Cool-touch handles
A full stainless steel soup pot, in particular, is relatively heavy. For greater safety and comfortable carrying, soup pots should be...sturdy handleshave features that do not absorb the heat of the pot too quickly.
Fissler soup pots feature stay-cool metal handles (Original-Profi Collection®) or stainless steel handles (Fissler Pure Collection):
- Stay-cool metal handlesThey retain an above-average amount of moisture on a standard household stove.pleasant grip temperature(<50 °C). They are solidly constructed and also have a heat-insulating transition between the pot body and the handle plate.
- Stainless steel handleshavepoor thermal conductivityThis benefits you when cooking. The more robust the construction, the greater the positive effect on the handle temperature.
Tightly closing lid
Asolid and tightly closing lidThis enables energy-efficient cooking. Because the heat of condensation can only escape minimally through a tightly fitting lid, the boiling point is reached significantly faster. This not only saves you time, but also allows you to cook your soups more effectively.energy-saving.
Fissler soup pots are equipped with a metal lid (Original-Profi Collection®) or a high-quality glass lid (Viseo®):
- Metal lidconsistmade of robust 18/10 stainless steelThey are easy to clean and can be used in the oven up to 230 °C.
- Lid made of high-quality glassThey are shock-resistant and insensitive to slow thermal changes up to 180 °C. Thanks to the high-quality stainless steel ring with embedded silicone seal, water inclusions or stress in the glass during heating are prevented. The pot lid closes perfectly and allowsConvenient visual cooking without loss of aroma or energy.
Induction-compatible floor
In order to use the soup pot on an induction hob, it is important that it has a base that is suitable for this.
- The exclusiveFissler CookStar® base(Original-Profi Collection®) is suitable for all types of cookers andOptimized for inductionIt is extra thick and solid, providing optimal heat absorption, distribution, and retention. Thanks to the base's long heat retention, the energy input can be reduced before the end of the cooking time. This makes soup pots with a CookStar® base particularly energy-efficient. The integrated, star-shaped expansion joints in the CookStar® base offer a further advantage. These joints ensure exceptional base stability, so the pots always sit flat on the stovetop when heated, resulting in even cooking of the ingredients.
- TheSuperthermic® floor(Fissler Pure Collection) issuitable for all types of cookersSuitable for use with induction cooktops. It offers rapid heat absorption, distribution, and storage across the entire floor surface, ensuring very efficient energy use.
Measuring scale and pouring rim
Fissler's soup pots featurePractical details:
- With the help of thelaser-etched measuring scaleYou can measure liquids on the inside of the soup pot without needing a measuring cup.
