Large-capacity pots are ideal when you cook large portions or for many people. Instead of using many small pots, you only need one large pot. This saves you time and energy. Large pots are also suitable for certain dishes with a lot of liquid, helping you achieve optimal cooking results and prevent anything from boiling over.

Fissler therefore offers saucepans and cooking pots with a capacity of up to 15 litres. These are made from up to 90% recycled, high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and are especially durable.

What is a large-capacity pot?

Fissler large-capacity pots are pots with a particularly large capacity. They are characterized by high sides and are therefore ideal as spaghetti pots, for large portions and dishes that require a lot of liquid, such as:

stews
Soups
goulash

In contrast, pots with a large cooking surface and a low rim belong to the category of roasters or roasting pots.
Condensation forms on the high sides of the pot and on the lid. The slightly concave shape of the metal lid with its Condensate Plus function allows condensed steam to drip back into the pot, making food even juicier and more flavorful.

How many people can a 15-liter pot serve?

A cooking pot with a capacity of up to 15 liters is suitable for particularly large or many portions.
At Fissler you will find the right pots for every application. The pot size you need depends on the size of the portions and the cooking method. The following sizes are available:

Up to 3 liters: suitable for 1-2 people
Up to 5 liters: suitable for 2-3 people
Up to 10 liters: suitable for 4-5 people
