Induction pots are very energy-efficient and sustainable thanks to how they work: the electromagnetic fields of induction hobs consist of coils made from copper wire. The magnetic base of the cookware converts these electromagnetic fields into heat. Compared with a hob with solid hotplates or glass ceramic, induction hobs heat up faster.
