Cheeseburger and potato casserole

Ingredients

Casserole:
800g Potatoes
1 Onion
1 tsp oil
400g Minced meat
1 tsp Minced meat seasoning
1 tsp sweet paprika
Salt, pepper
1 Tomato
2-3 spoonfuls of Danish cucumber salad for hot dogs and burgers (alternatively: gherkins)
100g grated cheese
Sauce:
200ml passata
150ml Water
100ml Cream (here: cream substitute with 7% fat)
2 tbsp cucumber water
1 tsp Mustard
Salt, pepper

Instructions

Step 1 of 5:

 

Peel and dice the potatoes. Peel the onion and slice it.

Step 2 of 5:

 

Heat oil in an ovenproof pan and brown the ground meat, breaking it up into crumbles. Season everything and remove. Fry the onion rings in the pan until golden brown and remove. Add the diced potatoes to the pan and fry for 5 - 8 minutes.

Step 3 of 5:

 

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat) and slice the tomatoes. Stir all the sauce ingredients together.

Step 4 of 5:

 

Now distribute the ground meat and onion rings over the potatoes. Place the tomato and cucumber slices on top and pour the sauce over everything.

Step 5 of 5:

 

Cover with cheese and bake for 40 - 50 minutes on the middle rack. After about 30 minutes, cover with a lid (or aluminum foil) so the cheese doesn't get too dark. Then, serve on plates and enjoy.
