Ingredients

800g Chicken strips
1 tsp oil
1 - 2 tsp sweet peppers
1 tsp Italian chicken seasoning
1 tsp salt
2 Peppers
2 tbsp tomato paste
250ml Water
250ml Cream (here: cream substitute with 7% fat)
500g Spätzle from the refrigerated section
Salt, pepper

Instructions

Step 1 of 5:

 

Heat oil in a large pan and sear the meat on high heat, then season.

Step 2 of 5:

 

Wash the bell peppers, cut into strips, and add to the chicken. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3 of 5:

 

Add tomato paste and sauté briefly. Deglaze with water and cream, and bring to a boil.

Step 4 of 5:

 

Add fresh Spätzle and stir in well. Simmer until the bell peppers have the desired tenderness.

Step 5 of 5:

 

Season again with salt and pepper, and serve.
