Ingredients
| 300 g | red lentils |
| 150 g | Carrots |
| 150 g | Potatoes |
| 1x | Onion |
| 1 clove of garlic | |
| 2 tsp | Tomato paste |
| 1.5 liters of water | |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 1 good pinch each of: sweet paprika, dried mint, seedless chili, turmeric, pepper, cumin | |
| A little oil for frying | |
| Juice of one lemon | |
| Cream |
Instructions
Step 1 of 4:
Peel the potatoes, carrots, garlic, and onion, cut them into pieces, and sauté in a little oil. Then add the lentils, tomato paste, and all the spices, sauté briefly, and deglaze with water.
Step 2 of 4:
Close the pot and set to level 2 (quick cooking). As soon as the yellow ring appears on the pressure indicator, turn down the heat. When the green ring is visible, the cooking time of 10 minutes begins.
Step 3 of 4:
Afterwards, remove the pot from the heat, let it depressurize, give it a quick shake, and open the lid.
Step 4 of 4:
Purée the soup, then stir in the cream and lemon juice, and season again with the spices.
P.S. If you want to skip the puréeing step, you can also simply cut the potatoes and carrots into smaller cubes.
