Ingredients
| 4 | Day-old pretzels |
| 250 ml | Milk |
| 2 | Eggs |
| 1 | Onion |
| 40 g | Butter |
| 2 tbsp | chopped parsley |
| Salt | |
| Pepper |
Instructions
Step 1 of 8:
Cut pretzel rolls into small pieces and place in a large bowl.
Step 2 of 8:
Heat milk until hot (do not boil). Pour over the pretzel pieces and let soak briefly.
Step 3 of 8:
Finely dice the onion. Sauté in butter over medium heat until translucent.
Step 4 of 8:
Add onions, eggs, and parsley to the pretzel pieces. Season with salt and pepper and mix everything well.
Step 5 of 8:
Let the mixture stand for 10–15 minutes to allow it to soak in.
Step 6 of 8:
Place the mixture on plastic wrap and form into a firm roll. Wrap the roll tightly. Then wrap additionally in aluminum foil.
Step 7 of 8:
Remove the roll from the water and let it cool slightly. Remove the plastic wrap.
Step 8 of 8:
Slice the dumplings. Pan-fry in a little butter until golden brown.
