You absolutely have to try this Korean pancake recipe from @experimenteausmeinerkueche. Pajeon is the perfect recipe for a light meal. It was prepared in our Adamant® Comfort pan .

Ingredients

3x Spring onions
1x Carrot (approx. 100g)
50 g White cabbage (preferably pointed cabbage or Chinese cabbage)
120 g Flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
1x Egg (M)
245 ml cold water
1 tsp salt
Oil for frying
Dip:
1x small clove of garlic
3 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Rice vinegar
2 tbsp water
1 tsp Sesame seeds

Instructions

Step 1 of 10:

 

Clean the spring onions and cut into fine rings. 

Step 2 of 10:

 

Peel and grate the carrot. 

Step 3 of 10:

 

Wash and cut the cabbage into fine strips. 

Step 4 of 10:

 

Whisk together the flour, starch, egg, water, and salt. 

Step 5 of 10:

 

Add the cut vegetables and mix well. 

Step 6 of 10:

 

Heat oil in a pan and spread the batter evenly. 

Step 7 of 10:

 

Bake on medium heat for about 10 minutes until golden brown on both sides. 

Step 8 of 10:

 

Meanwhile, prepare the dip.

Finely chop the garlic and mix with soy sauce, water, vinegar, and sesame in a small bowl. 

Step 10 of 10:

 

Invert the pancake onto a plate, cut into small squares, and serve with the dip.
