Ingredients

100 g Minced beef
8 Potatoes
200 g Emmental cheese
2 Tomatoes
sour cream
Spring onions
Black pepper, salt, curry powder, garlic powder, paprika powder, olive oil, lemon juice, grapeseed oil to taste

Instructions

Step 1 of 5:        

 

Combine ground beef with spices in a large bowl.  

Step 2 of 5:        

 

Heat grapeseed oil in a Levital+® pan. Add ground beef to the pan and fry until golden brown and dry. Set aside and let cool. Wipe the pan with paper towels.  

Step 3 of 5:        

 

Grate the potatoes and Emmental cheese. Combine potatoes, cheese, beef, and curry powder with a little salt in a bowl. 

Step 4 of 5:        

 

Heat grapeseed oil and add a ladleful of the potato mixture to the pan. Fry both sides until golden brown.  

Step 5 of 5:        

 

Halve the tomato, remove the seeds, and chop coarsely. Combine tomato, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and toss lightly. Arrange the potato pancakes and meatballs on a plate and top with sour cream and sliced spring onions.  

Fissler Pro Tips:

 

  •  Gouda or pizza cheese can be used instead of Emmental cheese. Since each cheese has a different salt content, it is advisable to add some salt to the mixture.
  • Potatoes and cheese can be easily grated with a vegetable grater.
