Ingredients
| 200g | Beans of your choice (dry) |
| 1 | bay leaf |
| 1 tbsp. | salt |
| A few peppercorns | |
| Water |
Instructions
Step 1 of 6:
Soak the beans in water overnight. Be sure to keep in mind that the volume of the beans will double. So do not choose containers that are too small. I always use about 200g.
Step 2 of 6:
The next day, drain the beans in a sieve.
Step 3 of 6:
Put the beans, 1 bay leaf, 1 tbsp. salt, and a few peppercorns into the Pressure Cooker. Add water. When cooking beans, the maximum fill level should not exceed the 1/3 mark (which is easy to see inside the pot).
Step 4 of 6:
Put on and lock the Lid, set Cooking Levels 3, and heat on the highest hob setting. When the yellow ring appears, reduce the temperature. When the green ring appears, the cooking time of 15 minutes begins (large white beans). For smaller beans, 12 minutes of cooking time is enough.
Step 5 of 6:
Turn off the heat and let the beans release steam slowly.
Step 6 of 6:
Once the steam has escaped, let the beans cool in the liquid, then fill them into jars together with the liquid and store them in the refrigerator.
