Ingredients

1 red cabbage (2 kilo)
2 onions
4-5 apples
500 ml cloudy apple juice
6 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1-2 bay leaves
1 tsp level tsp cinnamon
salt and pepper
a good knob of butter

Instructions

Step 1 of 3:

Remove the outer leaves and core from the red cabbage and cut into fine strips. Cut the onions into half-rings, peel two of the apples and cut into pieces.

Step 2 of 3:

Melt the butter in a pot, sauté the onions and red cabbage, then add all remaining ingredients and let simmer gently for about 60 minutes until the red cabbage is cooked. Shortly before the end of the cooking time, peel the remaining apples, cut into small pieces and stir in, so you still have a few pieces in it afterwards

Step 3 of 3:

Remove the bay leaves and season everything again with the spices
