Apple and cranberry crumble
Chia was an important food plant for the Aztecs, but it was almost forgotten by their descendants.
That would have been a shame, because chia seeds are exceptionally rich in antioxidants, protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. They also have the highest omega-3 content of any food – a true superfood.
