PHI = Form x Function: The new PHI collection from Fissler combines form and function at the highest level.
Idar-Oberstein in January 2024 –. The Greek letter Phi symbolically stands for the number of the "golden ratio", the concept of balanced proportions in art, architecture, and design. This magical number, inherent throughout nature, was chosen by the German premium Cookware manufacturer Fissler as the guiding star for the development of its new extraordinary Cooking Pot collection. In collaboration with Phoenix Design and thus some of Europe's most renowned product designers, Cookware was created that combines form and function like no other: PHI.
The growing merging of the kitchen and living space opens up new aesthetic possibilities that go far beyond a purely functional view of Cookware. At the same time, preparing, cooking, and eating together creates a lively space for communication and interaction in which Cookware takes on a completely new role. And this is where Phi comes in: in Fissler's new pot collection, the Cooking Pots are far more than utensils - they are part of the staging. Design elements that contribute to the aesthetics of the room. "Our idea and motivation was to create Cooking Pots that embody balance, perfection, and beauty, both in their proportions and in their function. In this way, not only cooking but also the Cooking Pots themselves become art. To meet this aspiration for perfection and harmony, our Fissler master craftsmen and cooking experts joined forces with the product designers at Phoenix Design, winners of numerous design awards, and developed the Phi Collection." - Andre Koch, Global Brand & Communication Manager at Fissler.
The result is distinctive, innovative, and multifunctional Cookware. Made in Germany. Its extensive functionality and contemporary design are what make this product unique. Combined with the premium material, the design and proportions create the perfect balance for an efficient cooking process and a harmonious overall look on the set table. This meets the standard of high-quality Cookware and leads to a complete cooking experience.
This durable, sustainable Cookware is made from hard-wearing, 100% recyclable 18/10 Stainless Steel. The wide, striking handle surfaces improve ergonomics and pair perfectly with the overall look of satin-finished stainless steel and glass. The handle surfaces do even more: they protect against heat, making handling easier while you cook. Key features such as downdraft, a pouring rim, lid hanging, and stackability are seamlessly integrated into the design, giving it a refined, minimalist look despite its full functionality.
"With the Fissler Phi Collection, the leading cooking experts at Fissler are setting another highlight. Since 1845, for more than 175 years, Fissler has been producing Premium Cookware Made in Germany - always with the goal of inspiring passionate cooks. To meet the diverse demands of passionate cooks, including in terms of design and function, Fissler has created this new cookware series." – Sebastian Hahn, Global Head of Brand & Marketing at Fissler.
