Fissler receives awards for innovation and user-centricity
Idar-Oberstein, 16.08.2022: The premium cookware manufacturer wins the German Innovation Award for the new Ceratal® Comfort Frying Pan and the Special Mention award for the new Adamant® Wok.
With Ceratal® Comfort, the premium cookware manufacturer expanded its range in April 2022. The Frying Pan impresses not only with its exceptional design in warm shades of grey, but also with its water-based ceramic Non-Stick Coating, which is free from PFAS/PTFE. Thanks to its very good non-stick performance, the Frying Pan is suitable for both gentle and crisp frying of, for example, crunchy vegetables, potato dishes or pasta dishes. It is also made from up to 60% recycled aluminium at the production site in Rhineland-Palatinate. With the new Frying Pan, Fissler meets the needs of consumers who, when purchasing, are looking for an alternative to cooking with conventionally coated Frying Pans and also value the look of their kitchen. Ceratal® Comfort also convinced the jury of the German Innovation Award and receives the award in the “Excellence in Business to Consumer” category. The German Innovation Award recognises forward-looking innovations that offer users sustainable added value. It makes outstanding achievements visible to a broad audience and supports successful positioning in the market.
The scratch-resistant all-rounder for Asian cuisine from Fissler - the Adamant® Wok - was also honoured at this year's ceremony for its special benefits: it combines very good non-stick performance with exceptional scratch resistance. The key to its extreme durability is the Adamant coating, which gives the series its distinctive name. It contains silicon carbide particles that give it a rough surface texture and scratch-resistant properties. Thanks to the coating's excellent thermal conductivity, heat is transferred to the food being fried more directly than with conventional non-stick products. This means you can not only fry gently, but also sear without the food sticking. Combined with the original Chinese Wok shape, this all-rounder is therefore made for traditional Chinese cuisine: from searing crustaceans or vegetables to Chinese noodle dishes. The jury recognises this special detail with the “Special Mention” accolade. These awards once again underline the premium cookware manufacturer’s position as a specialist in Frying Pans and Woks, as well as the company’s innovative strength.
