A real eye-catcher: Fissler launches the Ceratal® Comfort Frying Pan - an eco-friendly ceramic-coated alternative
Idar-Oberstein, March 21, 2022. The premium cookware manufacturer Fissler is expanding its range in April 2022 with the Ceratal® Comfort Frying Pan. The frying pan stands out with its exceptional design in warm shades of grey. The responsible ceramic, water-based, and PFAS/PTFE-free coating of the Ceratal® Comfort is especially suitable for gentle, crispy frying.
The traditional company from Idar-Oberstein has set itself the goal of taking a pioneering role in innovation and quality Made in Germany. To meet this ambition, Fissler has invested in one of the most modern frying pan production facilities in Neubrücke. With the new production system, water-based coatings can be applied that minimize solvent consumption and at the same time reduce the company's CO2 emissions by approx. 70% per year compared to processes using solvent-based coatings.
The Ceratal® Comfort Frying Pan is also made from up to 60% recycled aluminum. That corresponds to around 50 beverage cans, which thus find a new purpose in the recycling loop. The company's responsibilities also include staying at the production site in Rhineland-Palatinate and training in Germany.
With the Ceratal® Comfort , Fissler meets the needs of consumers looking for an alternative to frying with conventionally coated frying pans and who also value appearance in the kitchen. The unique feature of the Ceratal® Comfort is the ceramic PFAS/PTFE-free Non-Stick Coating with a water-based formula and very good non-stick effect. This makes it especially suitable for gentle, crispy frying, for example of crisp vegetables, potato dishes, and pasta dishes. The exclusive energy-saving Fissler CookStar® base ensures optimal heat distribution and is suitable for all Stovetops including induction. The innovative conical shape of the Fissler Comfort frying pan body has a high rim and an extra-large frying surface. It allows comfortable stirring and turning without spilling. The separately available Fissler Clippix® splash guard can be attached to the ergonomic, sturdy Fissler safety handle with finger guard.
