A non-stick aluminum frying pan is great for cooking anything that doesn't stick, doesn't cause any damage, and doesn't require a lot of fat. By using a ceramic pan, you can avoid eating food that has been cooked in pans that contain added PTFE/PFAS. All Fissler® pans are made as sustainable and durable as possible from recycled materials in Germany.
The different types of pans
The aluminum pans from Fissler have first-class, water-based coatings that are effective in ensuring a non-stick surface. The energy-efficient Fissler CookStar® base is suitable for all stove tops – including induction – and ensures high heat conductivity. Fissler® pans with CookStar® bases heat up evenly and maintain a consistent temperature during frying. This reduces energy consumption and saves money.
One of the main advantages of using Fissler aluminum pans is that they are non-stick and can be easily cleaned.

Fissler stainless steel pans are made of up to 90% recycled 18/10 stainless steel and are particularly robust and durable. Fissler stainless steel pans are ideal for searing meat and high-quality ingredients such as shellfish in a sharp and crispy way. When frying with stainless steel pans at temperatures above 450°F, flavorful roasted aromas are created by the Maillard reaction.

The Original-Profi Collection® frying pan - the professional for hot searing is part of the most successful cookware series in the world:
The stainless steel wok is especially popular in China for frying crisp vegetables, meat, crustaceans, mussels, and other ingredients. At high temperatures, the typical wok aroma is created, which is called "wok hei". Non-stick coated woks also perform well with typical Chinese noodle dishes and marinated foods that stick easily. Fissler® woks feature the energy-efficient CookStar® base and are suitable for all types of stove, including induction.

The Original-Profi Collection® serving pan is particularly durable and sustainable, made of up to 90% recycled stainless steel in Germany.
Non-stick frying pans have a clear advantage: nothing sticks to the surface. This makes cleaning very easy. Preparing delicate foods that stick easily in non-stick pans also requires less fat.
Non-stick coatings made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) are the best known and most common of their kind. They offer the best non-stick properties and are very easy to clean. To preserve the non-stick coating of the pan for a long time and to protect the surface from scratches, we recommend using kitchen utensils made of silicone or wood. Also, you should not expose the coating to too high temperatures. Non-stick coatings made of PTFE are harmless to health.
Fissler® ceramic non-stick pans are an excellent alternative to conventional pans with PTFE coating. They also offer very good non-stick properties with a smooth and scratch-resistant surface.
Enamel, on the other hand, has a robust surface that is not as impact resistant as ceramic. High temperature fluctuations can cause enamel to crack and chip. It also has poorer non-stick properties than PTFE.
The right pan size for every recipe: Fissler® pans are available in diameters from 8 to 11 inches. Fissler® woks are available in diameters from 11 to 12 inches and suitable for large portions.
If you often dine with several guests, we recommend a pan diameter of 11 inches. This allows you to prepare large portions without any problems.
A pan with a diameter of 6 inches is suitable for preparing a fried egg and a small omelet. A Fissler® pan in 8 inches is ideal for frying two fried eggs or skillet dishes for one person. Three fried eggs fit perfectly in a 9.5-inch pan. For larger portions, we recommend a pan with a 11-inch frying surface.
With the right care, you can extend the life of your Fissler® frying pan. Special requirements apply to different coatings and materials.
