How to cook properly with non-stick pans

Using non-stick cookware is safe and especially convenient: nothing burns or stick in a Fissler non-stick frying pan. To extend the life of a non-stick pan, there are a few tips and tricks to keep in mind:

  • We recommend using silicone or wooden kitchen utensils.

  • Don't use sharp objects like forks and knives.

  • Simply clean non-stick pans with a soft sponge cloth, warm water, and some dishwashing liquid.

  • Fissler pans are suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. We recommend washing by hand to preserve the non-stick effect and extend the life of the pan.

  • Make sure in advance that your pan is suitable for use in the oven.

Stainless steel and non-stick pans: the right pan for every application

The Fissler pan philosophy: different pans for different recipes. Depending on what you want to prepare, you should choose the right pan:

  • Searing at high temperatures, we recommend a stainless-steel pan. Stainless steel pans are robust, durable and dishwasher safe.

  • For preparing food that sticks easily, such as fish, egg dishes, and pancakes, a non-stick pan is the right choice.
