The handles are made of heat-resistant plastic.
Fissler pressure cooker handles consist of two parts: the lid handle and a helpful handle. This allows the pots to be held securely from both sides. The handle on the lid also has a special function: It enables safe steaming and pressure release when done with cooking.
Handles rarely break but if it does happen, Fissler offers high-quality pressure cooker handle replacements for all Fissler pressure cookers.

The ergonomic Fissler safety handle with locking indicator is part of the multi-level Fissler safety system with patented technology.
The handles ensure that the pot is closed securely and airtight. Once the lid is securely engaged, which can be heard by a click on the handle, the pressure builds-up and cooking time begins.
This allows pressure to be built up safely inside the pot to prepare food faster, more energy-efficiently and more gently.
After the cooking time is over, the pressure cooker releases steam easily and safely using the steam-off function on the handle. The Vitavit® Premium pressure cooker can also be conveniently steamed off via the cooking crown.
The Vitavit® Premium lid handle is suitable for all pressure cooker sizes in the series.
