I own some Fissler but never had pressure cooker. I used to spend 4-5 hours to cook beef stew. And now with Vitavit, not even 1 hour. Goodness! And it's super easy to use. I'm still learning the cooking different recipes with this pressure cooker. I found it fun. My cooking became wonderful cuisine. I use EVERY DAY! My Vitavit is just few month old but I feel like I'm using many many years. I'm now thinking about buying bigger one. Oh Fissler, you always amaze me!
Absolutely Love this pressure cooker, have only used it a handful of times yet but i am very impressed so far! Excellent Quality, Easy to use and just perfect for my use (we are a household of 4). Customer service is brilliant too and i will definitely purchase some more quality Fissler products . I’m from the UK but born in Germany and this is the quality I expect from Fissler.
Perfect size for veggie or rice sides. Makes great risotto!
I'm not an experienced pressure cooker user. The only thing I've used is an Instant Pot that was gifted to me a while back. I've always been afraid of these things. When this one arrived, I was impressed by the look of it. It really looks like a high end cooking tool. The manual is written in so many languages, it's pretty wild. The thing is over 500 pages thick! Being that I'm nervous using pressure cookers, I actually did read the manual. It describes the various safety features and such very well. In all, it's a very detailed manual though it's a little hard to find the cooking times in the correct language if you're just flipping through for that. It took me a while to figure out what I was going to make in the pot because most of the recipes I found were for the IP and all called for a much bigger pot. So, I decided to go with a traditional cabbage for New Years. It is a super simple recipe that uses only cabbage, butter, bacon, and chicken stock. I followed the pressure setting from the manual (it called for setting 3) and, though I may have put more cabbage than I should have - it seemed to work great. I will admit that it seemed to take a while to come to pressure, but I'm thinking that may have been my fault bc I didn't go above medium-high on the heat. As the steam built and the thing started hissing, I slowly moved further and further away. Eventually (6 or 7 minutes later) the stoplight gauge came into view. I really like that feature as it's easy to keep track of the pressure. Mine hit red and I quickly turned the heat down. Cabbage only takes 3-5 minutes in a pressure cooker and I started the timer as soon as I saw the green indicator. I turned off the heat at 3.5 minutes and used the quick release feature (press the lock release button). The cabbage tasted awesome, but to me it was a little mushy. I think I'll try setting 2 next time. I do like the fact that the lock button will not allow you to press it all the way in if there's any pressure in the pot. That made me a bit more comfortable with using the pot. I also like the colored pressure indicator. I can see that from across the room where I take shelter (have you see the pictures from pressure cooker mistakes????). I think that I can really make use of this pot. It decreases cooking times dramatically which is really helpful when your family is always moving. This pressure cooker from Fissler is a great option and alternative to an electric pressure cooker.
This pressure cooker works perfectly. However, I was nervous because the instructions weren't very detailed and they confused me. Maybe, expert chefs wouldn't be as confused. I would have liked it if the instruction booklet included several recipes instead of zero recipes. I made beanless turkey chili with olives and onions, which cooked to perfection over gas heat in 45-60 minutes. I was still a bit nervous during cooking though because the temperature regulator seems to require constant monitoring to make sure that the internal pressure/temperature is not too high. The device itself seems to be of high quality and should clean up very easily.
The Fissler Vitavit® Premium S4 Pressure Cooker is a great kitchen staple! It speeds up my cooking time for recipes that would normally take me several hours to cook (example: pulled pork). It's safe and easy to use, cleaning is simple and I store it with the rest of my pots and pans. The red, yellow, green steam indicators make the pressure cooker easy to use. I also love the steam release feature. The release button works great, and the steam is blown away from you, which makes it much safer to use than older pressure cookers. I recommend this product, would also make a great gift.
I was always afraid to use a pressure cooker before but after using this one it has totally changed my mind, it's just so easy and efficient!
Fissler Vitavit Premium S4 Pressure Cooker with Steamer Insert is a great pressure cooker. Easy to use once you read and follow instructions. Easy to clean. Sturdy. I loved cooking with it. Cut cooking time in half.
Growing up I only heard of scary explosion stories of using pressure cookers. The instructions, smartly engineered and easy to use product made it my new favorite cooking tool. Chicken only took 10 minutes in the pressure cooker and it came out moist and delicious.
Love this pressure cooker. It's easy to use. And your food is ready in a fraction of the time. I have made beans and cooked chicken in this pressure cooker. I do wish it came with a mini recipe book.
This pressure cooker is great. This is so easy to use. It is the perfect size to cook a family meal. I like that I am able to add all the ingredients and this pressure cooker does all the work. Everything comes out perfectly cooked. This is great to use when I do not have the time to prepare a meal because this saves so much time.
So to be honest, I was pretty nervous about using a pressure cooker. I'm an experienced cook, but I've never used one before. This was EASY. Don't be afraid! There are some excellent videos on YouTube that show you everything you need to know and the instruction manual is clear. And the food? Perfect. I made the most amazing short ribs in this pot and I'm planning on serving them Christmas Eve as well - using my Fissler. I love it and can't wait to try more recipes!
This pressure cooker was very impressive. I used it to cook a roast with all the veggies with it. It really cut cook time in half and the meat was so tender it just melted in your mouth. My 5 year old loved dinner, and wants daddy to use it next time too
Very high quality
I liked this! You can tell it's well made. I'm not a kitchen pro, but I don't know why you'd get this over an instant pot.
I'm brazilian so pressure cooker is a must have in my life.Since I moved to US I wasn't able to find one good enough so I was really happy to try this one out! the size is perfect because we live in a house with 2 and now I'm going back to the way I was before and now we always have rice and beans over here. This pot has a great quality not to mention that you can regulate the cooking according to your needs and even comes with a basket for steaming. It is a dream coming true, for real!
This is a very good small pressure cooker. We use it every day to cook rice and whole grains. Very fast and effective. Also easy to clean. It is a bit complicated to use compared to other pressure cookers but safer as well.
Safe and versatile
